Project name: Foods made with heart and without “E numbers”

Main objective of the project/operation
Investment in processing operations leading to increased added value for agricultural products
This project will result in the acquisition of the following technologies:
Multifunctional frying centre (frying on cast iron rotary plates) – a separate machine consisting of two identical frying plates with multifunctional dosing and formatting equipment for plant products
Automatic mixing device with a bowl for 250–300 l (kg)
Conveyor pump from bowl to dispenser
Freezer for the storage of sold food
This will directly affect the company P Z P MERLIN s.r.o. by:
– increasing the quality and capacity of production technologies
– increasing production quality
– increasing the company’s value added per employee
– increasing the market share
– maintaining hygiene requirements in food production
– reducing production costs per unit of production and reducing production inputs
– reducing heat loss
– promoting the image of the company as a high-quality producer of food products
– maintaining or increasing the employment of disabled persons
– also, supporting farms in the region through increased demand for raw materials
The above investments will reduce the company’s cost of production per unit of production while increasing its quality. This will increase the added value of the company P Z P MERLIN s.r.o and bring other benefits.

Project name:
Investing in healthy food
Measures: 4.2.1.b Processing and marketing of agricultural products

Main objective of the project/operation
The project will result in the following investments:
– Freezer technology for the freezer warehouse in the upper production area
– Refrigeration technology in the upper production packaging areas
– Refrigerated partition with sectional gates and separate doors for staff
– Air deflector in the upper production packaging areas
– A ball and belt conveyor used for the easier handling of packed goods is installed in the upper production area of the existing packing plant
– Roll-up high-speed doors are installed in the passage between the production area and the packaging of the upper production area to prevent cold leakage in the packaging area
– Meat cutter for the upper production areas along with 120 l forklifts for handling meat
– Electric forklift for handling goods between the applicant’s warehouses
– Truck over 3.5 t with a freezer superstructure
– Newly established food shop equipped with counter, auxiliary counters, freezer, air conditioning unit, and cash register system

– increasing production quality
– increasing the company’s value added per employee
– increasing the market share
– maintaining hygiene requirements in food production
– reducing production costs per unit of production and reducing production
– reducing logistics costs
– promoting the image of the company as a high-quality producer of food products
– maintaining or increasing the employment of disabled persons
– also, supporting farms in the region through increased demand for raw materials.
The above investments will reduce the company’s cost of production per unit of production while increasing its quality. This will increase the added value of the company P Z P MERLIN s.r.o and bring other benefits.
The “Investing in Healthy Food” project is feasible, efficient, economical, and effective for the applicant.
After completion of the project implementation and beyond the expiry of the project’s binding commitment periods, the acquired technologies will continue to serve the purposes described above.

Business modernisation
Measures: 4.2.1.b Processing and marketing of agricultural products

Main objective of the project/operation
Implementation of the project by the applicant will result in the acquisition of the following equipment:
1. Multifunctional packaging and filling centre
2. Multifunctional frying and stewing centre with recuperative extraction
3. Multifunctional equipment for the production of halusky, potato clouds, mini liver dumplings
4. Multifunction box – thawing of frozen raw materials for production
5. Foam cleaning equipment
6. Weighing pallet truck
7. Truck with freezer unit with a gross payload up to 3.5 t
8. Server solution including active connecting elements. Mobile barcode reader for the applicant’s warehouse and 3 mobile readers, including mobile computers and mobile printers for the applicant’s dispatch vehicles. 3 personal computers, including LCD monitors and operating systems. Equipping with the necessary software, compatible with the company’s current software

– increasing the quality and capacity of packaging while lowering the consumption of packaging materials
– creating the possibility to package other products of the company
– increasing production quality
– increasing the company’s value added per employee
– increasing the market share
– maintaining hygiene requirements in food production
– reducing production costs per unit of production and reducing production inputs (packaging materials, oil, water, energy)
– reducing logistics costs
– creating accurate records of manufactured products and ensuring their possible traceability
– creating accurate stock records of products sold when delivered to final customers
– launching new products to the market – halusky, potato clouds, mini liver dumplings
– promoting the image of the company as a high-quality producer of food products
– maintaining or increasing the employment of disabled persons
– also, supporting farms in the region through increased demand for raw materials.

Project name:
Modernization of the company’s production premises
Measures: 4.2.1.b Processing and marketing of agricultural products

Main objective of the project/operation
Implementation of the project by the applicant will result in the acquisition of the following equipment:
The applicant’s new dispatch warehouse with a travel racking system and efficient freezer technology. Thanks to the travel racking systems, storage capacity will be used to the maximum.
The electric hand-guided forklift will be used to handle products in the newly established dispatch warehouse and to dispatch the company’s products.
The new dishwasher, especially designed for washing metal trays, will meet the demanding hygiene requirements for the equipment used by the applicant’s company.
This project is aimed at increasing the production efficiency and overall competitiveness of the company. Promoting investment in technologies related to processing agricultural products while enabling the retention of high quality and to their marketing, will enable the applicant to use modern and more efficient technologies. Last but not least, the implementation of the project will contribute to reducing production costs and reducing the energy intensity of production. The project is necessary for the applicant due to increasing competition from the sector targeted by the company. At the same time, jobs will be maintained or increased, mostly for employees with disabilities. New and more efficient technologies will contribute to less environmental stress.
